Nafiu Bala faction inaugurates ADC North-West council

Date:

The Nafiu Bala Gombe-led faction of the African Democratic Congress has inaugurated its North-West Campaign Council as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration followed a meeting of the party’s North-West Zonal Caucus with governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly candidates, as well as other stakeholders, in Sokoto State on Friday.

The meeting, held at Giginya Hotel, was convened to harmonise the party’s positions and develop a coordinated campaign strategy across the seven states in the North-West.

In a statement issued by the Director of Media and Publicity and spokesperson for the 2027 ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Christopher Okechukwu, Alhaji Nuradeen Lawal Chindo was named chairman of the North-West Campaign Council, while Dr Bello Shehu was appointed secretary.
