The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON in collaboration with Islamic Development Bank is to train nahcon staff in capacity building.
A statement issued by the Commission’s Deputy Director, Information and Publications, Media Division of NAHCON, Fatima Muhammed Mustapha who was part of the delagtion stated this.
According to the statement, the decision was reached at a meeting between the commission representatives and that of IDB at the Bank’s headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Statement further said other key important issues were also discussed at the meeting as well as other areas of collaboration the bank with partner the commission to boost Hajj operation in Nigeria.
The Commission’s delegation comprised of Zakari Ya’u Umar, Director, Northeast Zone, leader of the delegation, Fatima Muhammed Mustapha, Deputy Director Information and Publications and Bashir Jazuli, Assistant Director, Special duties.
