Council boss announces free JAMB registration for 300 students in Taraba

In a bid to support Governor Agbu Kefas’ education reforms and uplift the educational standards in Jalingo Local Government Area (LGA), Chairman Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan has announced a free JAMB registration scheme for 300 students.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued to journalists by the chairman, Dr Hassan on Wednesday.

According to the chairman, “This initiative is aimed at providing opportunities for indigent students to access higher education. We believe that every student deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their financial background. By providing free JAMB registration, we hope to alleviate the financial burden on students and their families, and give them a chance to pursue their dreams.

“The scheme is open to all indigenes of Jalingo LGA who meet the eligibility criteria. We urge all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications as soon as possible. We are committed to supporting the education sector in Jalingo LGA, and we believe that this initiative will go a long way in achieving our goals”, statement read.

He further urged eligible students to submit their Profile code to his office, along with their credentials, to benefit from the scheme. The free JAMB registration scheme is expected to be a major boost to education development in the region.
