Nasarawa CP orders deployment of Police, vigilante to boundary with FCT

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada has ordered for the deployment of Police operatives and vigilante to identified areas bordering with the FCT.
The action became pertinent inview of the recent security challinges being experienced.
A press statement made available to newsmen in Lafia, the state capital on Wednesday by the state Police Public Relations officer DSP Ramhan Nansel said the command and the other sister security agencies have stepped up proactive measures to tackle any security breach in the state.
Nadada further tasked Area Commanders in New Karu, Keffi, and Nasarawa LGCs as well as all Divisional Police officers under them to mobilise their personnel and Vigilante, and partner with the traditional rulers, Community leaders.”
