Nasarawa State Forum, Kaduna state chapter has offered special prayers for the soul of its former Governor Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma to rest in peace.
The prayers which were done in both Muslim and Christian rites over the weekend in Kaduna was attended by all members of the Forum. Speaking, shortly after the prayers, the President of the Forum, Mr. Danjuma Ewuga described the demise of Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma asshocking.
He also described the former Governor Doma as a true Nigerian icon and statement whose life and time were worthy of emulation.
Mr. Ewuga on behalf of Nasarawa State Forum condoled the late Doma’s family, Government and people of Nasarawa State over the death and prayed to God the Almighty for the soul to rest in peace and to bless the family he left behind.
