Nasarawa INEC Commissioner seeks media collaboration

Newly posted resident Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Nasarawa state Doctor Usman Abdulrahman Ajidagba has appealed to media organizations in the state to collaborate with commission in order to enable it succeed in 2019 general elections.
The state INEC commissioner who made the call while interacting with journalists at the INEC office Lafia, the state capital yesterday said, “Journalists play very essential role during elections”.
According to him “Press are very important especially in the area of information dissemination, education and entertainment. We need you to partner with us. I cannot do everything alone. I want to identify with you as partners”.
Doctor Ajidagba further said that as election managers in the state, we need to partner with journalists in order to succeed in 2019 elections conduct.
“2019 elections is around the corner. The attention of the whole world is focused on Nigeria. You press men are potential in informing the people. Co-operate with us to build this nation’s democracy”. He added.
Doctor Ajidagba further disclosed that over two thousand five hundred and twenty six 2,526 electorates are yet to collect their PVC in the state as well as appealed to them do so.
