Nasarawa law-maker describes Igbos as partners

The member representing Karu local government area in the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Hon. David Maiyaki has described the Igbo community in Panda development area of Karu local government as partners in progress and commended their impact in the overall development of the area.
He made this assertion during a special celebration in honour of Eze Igbo Panda Development Area Igwe Richard Nwachukwu on the occasion to mark his thirtieth year on the throne in Gitata, Nasarawa state.
According to him, “some of the Igbo people invested heavily in this place. You have no other place to go, we are one people. We have been living together in peace for years and nothing can separate us.
We are so grateful for your efforts at bringing development in this place and we encourage you to do more. We are counting on your support at all times.
While extoling the virtues of Igwe Nwachukwu, the Sangari Gitata, Panda Development Area, Karu Local government Area of Nasarawa state, HRN Turaki Rabo described the Monarch as a lover of peace who upon assumption of the throne ensured peaceful co-existence between the indigenes and Igbo community in the area. Highlights of the occasion include cultural dance by various troupes.
