Countdown to Local Government Councils election in Nasarawa state. APC Chairmanship aspirant in Akwanga local government Area, Honorable Samuel Maishi said he will accord topmost priorities to Agriculture, Economic,boost revenue base, education and water among others.
Mashi who stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lafia the state capital yesterday.
According to him “If given the mandate. I will improve Agriculture sector in all the localities through loan scheme to peasant farmers. I will also embark on training and retraining of primary school teachers in the council for them to provide quality education to our younger generation”.
Samuel asserted that attention will also be geared towards infrastructures suchas roads, water, health sector among others.
He continued “Peace will be my cardinal agenda. I will ensure the unity of people l iving in the council. Without peace, meaningful development cannot strive”.
He further called on youths in the Area to maintain peace by adhering to
constituted authority as well as they should not allow themselves to be used by politicians whose ambition is to create disunity.
Maishi however implored electorates in the area to vote the rightful peop lethat will in turn work for them in order to improve their living standard.
“I urged you to be focus, diligent and vote wisely during the conduct,” he added.
