Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido, has allocated plots of land to all tribal groups in the state, with cash donation of N100, 000 each to start developing them.

The governor, disclosed this while speaking to indigenes and non-indigenes of the state, led by the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi, who paid Sallah homage to the governor at the Government House, Dutse.

Lamido said, it was part of his government’s move to ensure that non-indigenes feel at home, as discrimination would not augur well for the peace, unity and security of the nation.

Speaking earlier, the Emir of Dutse, Dr Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi, had expressed gratitude to the governor and his government for transforming the lives of the people through people-oriented programmes.
