The National Directorate of Employment, NDE has commenced the empowerment of 16 graduates under its Graduate Attachment Program,GAP in Makurdi, Benue State capital
The program is domiciled under the Directorate’s Special Public Works Department,SPWD.
Benue NDE State Coordinator, Musa Sadauki charged the graduates to take their job seriously in the areas they have been posted to.
“Judging by its (GAP) acceptance and impressive results recorded in the state over the years, we sincerely hope that you will take the programme very seriously.”
“You have to make the best use of this opportunity by being regular at all times at the various organisations you are posted during the three months duration of the attachment. Note also that, the monthly payment of your allowances of 18,000 naira monthly depends on your attendance at your place of posting”, Sadauki said.
The programme, which is targeted at reducing the effect of COVID – 19, is also aimed at creating temporary job for the graduates.
