New A.I.G zone 3 Yola resumes duty

The New Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in charge of Zone 3 Yola supervising Adamawa and Taraba states in the North East has assumed office with the promise to deepen intelligence and strength security in the area.
AIG Olugbenga Adeyanju, was the immediate past commissioner of Police manning Adamawa state before his elevation to the rank of AIG and posted to handle Zone 3 Yola respectively.
Spokesman of the Police Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje disclosed the development in a press release issued in Yola Wednesday stating that the new sheriff in town tasked officers on professionalism.
“AIG Adeyanju succeeded his predecessor AIG Haliru Abubakar Gwandu,who has been deployed to the National Institute of Policy and strategic studies,NIPSS Kuru-Jos ,Plateau state as a directing staff.
“Until his recent promotion and posting,AIG Adeyanju was the commissioner of Police,Adamawa state Command and is a consummated Police Officer with B.A History (University of Ilorin),Masters Degree in Public Administration.
