New Islamic Year: Niger Gov. urges Muslims to pray against insecurity

In the wake of the prevailing insecurity in Nigeria, Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has urged Muslims to pray for continued peace of the State and the country in general.

In a congratulatory message to the Muslim Umah to Mark new Islamic year, the Governor urged Muslims to remain peaceful.

Bello who stressed the importance of the New Islamic Calendar, emphasized the need for Muslims to put God first in the conduct of their daily affairs.

He further advised Muslims to use the period to pray for the leaderships at all levels to succeed in their quest to finding lasting solution to the security challenges bedeviling the country.
