The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), Gov. Jonah Jang of Plateau state and his deputy, Gov. Segun Mimiko of Ondo state have been commended for focused and purposeful leadership as the forum marks its first year under their leadership.
The sole administrator of the Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, said he was particularly proud to be serving the Forum under their leadership.
He said their leadership adhered to the vision and the objectives behind the founding of the Forum, which is an avenue for peer review and collaborative interaction with other tiers of government for the benefit of the citizenry.
Onaiwu noted that the forum under the leadership of the duo was so far very successful in working with the federal government at ensuring that the citizens of Nigeria benefit from government policies at all levels.
The Sole Administrator encouraged all the governors to continue to maintain the peaceful coexistence and mutual respect they have achieved in the last one year, which could stand as a model for other groups working for a better and peaceful Nigeria.
