Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State, Umar Mohammed Bago has promised to complete the developmental projects started across the state by governor Abubakar Sani Bello.

He made this known during the flag off  of Niger East Senatorial campaign while addressing the mammoth crowd that received him in the Kontagora.

Bago noted that the principle of his administration if elected would be based on maximizing the state resources through building on legacies of his predecessors.

Earlier in his remarks, the North-Central APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Mu’azu Bawa received 4, 780 decampees from various political parties.

He said 87 of the decampees were officials of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), adding that 261 were women 173 men from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
