All Progressives Congress (APC)has won 24 while Social Democratic Party SDP won one local government council in the just conducted elections by the Niger state Independent Electoral Commission.
The Director of Operations Niger state Independent Electoral Commission, Comrade Ibrahim Aliyu Tunganwawa announced the results in Minna.
The director described the election as peaceful and orderly despite some minor hitches.
Comrade Tunganwawa appealed to Nigerlites especially those of voting population to be law abiding, insisting that the commission would continue to maintain her transparency in the conduct of elections.
