Niger Assembly assures media practitioners of conducive atmosphere

The Niger State House of Assembly has reaffirmed its commitments to ensure that media practitioners in the state have conducive atmosphere to practice their profession as contained in the constitution.
Speaker of the State House of Assembly Barr. Abdullahi Bawa Wuse, disclosed this when the joint leadership of the House, the House Committee Chairman and Members including the Clerk. Abdullah Kagara and Members of the Assembly Press Crew visited the Speaker in Minna.
According to the Speaker, the interface has become necessary in view of the recent publication of a section of the social media in the State as well as in the public domain, which claimed that one of the law makers in the Assembly was infected with Covid-19 pandemic.
