The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced its flight for this years participating pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from Sunday 11th May, 2025.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Sheikh Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, through the board PRO, Jibrin Usman Kodo who

noted that the State will be having 2 flights as scheduled by UMZA Aviation Services which is the Airline assigned for the State.

He said the first flight from Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna at 8 o’clock in the morning will depart with 480 pilgrims from Mashegu and Mariga local governments area of the State.

It added that the second flight, is also expected to depart at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with pilgrims from Shiroro, Mokwa and Borgu Local government areas respectively.
