The people of Azza Community in Lapai local government area of Niger state have made a passionate appeal to governor Mohammed Umar Bago to as a matter of urgency consider the reconstruction of Muye – Gulu road.
The appeal was made by some indigenes and motorists in their separate interview with journalists in Minna.
He said that the reconstruction of the major alternative road to Kogi state will surely ease the plight of the motorists.
A driver Aliyu Umar in an interview disclosed that the less than fifty kilometer road has been a nightmare and dead trap for over a decade which called for concern from a good leader with sympathy for the livelihood of his people.
Another driver, Alhaji Ndatsu Musa explained that the road has been his route for about fifteen years where he ply on daily basis from Muye to Lapai to Minna, lamenting that he used to be in mechanic workshop on weekly interval since the deplorable situation of the roads.
He appealed for government to quickly intervene.
