Niger Gov. congrates Gov. Uzidinma, others over election victory

The Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated Imo State Governor and Chairman of Progressive Governors’ Forum, Hope Uzodinma on his re-election victory.
Governor Bago in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim described the victory as “deserving”.
According to him, “the outcome of the just concluded Governorship election in Imo State is a testament that Governor Uzodinma has done tremendously well to the people of the State and re-electing him was a confirmation of the positive impact recorded in his first term”.
The governor enjoined his Imo State counterpart to redouble his achievements in the next four years of his administration to leave unprecedented landmarks in the State.
He also called on him to be magnanimous in victory and extend the hand of fellowship to all those who contested with him for the overall benefit of the State.
Governor Umar Bago also congratulated Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State and Governor-elect of Kogi State Usman Ododo on their election victories.
