Niger Gov. says Minna, Tegina, Kontagora roads on course

Niger State Governor Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has said that his administration will ensure the Federal government contracts awarded for the reconstruction of Minna-Tegina and Tegina-Kontagora roads are completed.
The Governor stated this during Sallah homage on the Emir of Kontagora, Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II at his Palace in Kontagora.
He noted that the two contracts were awarded at different times during the administration of Muhammadu Buhari emphasised that the contracts are on course and that his government will put them on their toes until the projects are completed to ease the movement of goods and services.
Governor Bago called on the people of the Emirate to rally round his administration to achieve the desired objectives for the benefit of all.
The Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora Muhammad Barau Mu’azu had earlier expressed his appreciation to the Governor for the visit for showing commitment to collaborating with traditional rulers with a view to providing good governance.
The monarch prayed for the success of the Umaru Bago-led administration and conferred on him the traditional title of Gamjin Kontagora.
