Niger state govt suspends VIO boss

The Niger State Ministry of Transportation has suspended the Director General of the state Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO),  Doctor Danladi Bako.

According sources, Doctor Bako was suspended following his failure to abide by the directives of the commissioner of the ministry.

It was gathered that this is the second time Commissioner, Hajiya Hadiza Ladidi Kuta is firing suspension on the state director general of Vehicle Inspection Office.

A closed source from the ministry confirmed the suspension, saying that his deputy has been directed to take over the affairs of the agency on acting capacity pending the period of the suspension.

When contacted, the ministry’s commissioner could not be reached at the time of filing the report.
