The Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has urged the people of Kaduna State to continue to work together for a brighter future.
Governor Sani who wrote on his verified Facebook page, immediately after his speech at the famous Ahmadu Bello stadium during the celebration of 64 years Independent Anniversary of Nigeria, hailed all those who have made immeasurable contributions to the growth and development of the country.
While congratulating the President and fellow compatriots on the occasion of the 64th independence anniversary, he said the attainment of independence was as a result of sacrifices, determination and resilience of our nationalists, workers and citizens.
“I, therefore, salute all those who have made immeasurable contributions to the growth and development of our country. Since independence, we have been grappling with the challenges of nation building. We have recorded huge successes in infrastructural development and provision of amenities to our citizens. There have also been low moments and missed opportunities, ” he stressed.
“Our nation is at the moment going through severe economic stress. Years of mismanagement and corruption almost brought Nigeria to its knees. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has initiated bold but painful reforms to reinvent the economy and set Nigeria once again on the path to sustainable growth and development. What the President requires is the unalloyed support of Nigerians to enable him effectively steer the ship of the state.
“The Kaduna State Government, which I lead by the grace of God, has been providing succour to the poor, vulnerable and underserved persons in the state,” he further wrote.
“We are investing heavily in agriculture, education, health, innovation and entrepreneurship. Transformation of the rural economy is on course as many road projects have been completed and many others are ongoing across the state.
“We shall continue to build bridges, not walls, to foster inclusivity, not division, and to nurture hope, not despair.”
