fifa-logo_1Nigeria yesterday beat the deadline of 17th July set by World football governing body FIFA, to vacate the court injunction sacking the executive committee members of the NFF.

The court in Jos which upheld Mrs Baribote’s motion, reportedly held a special session to make the feat possible.

Sources said that a letter stating that all the conditions for lifting the ban has been met, has already been faxed to FIFA.

It is now expected that the ban placed on Nigeria by FIFA will be lifted before the weekend.
