Nigerian Army renovates schools in Jigawa communities

The Nigerian Army has renovated 24 classrooms, as part of their cooperate social responsibility in Limawa primary school area of Dutse local government, Jigawa state.
The Army also completed and furnished with student”s seats , and also provide set of school uniform to over 1,000 pupils.
The chief of Army staff, LT General Lagbaja said, the projects executed was part of the military policy for non carnatic support in national peace and development.
General Lagbaja, who was represented by chief of Civil Military Affairs Major general NC Ogbor said, the the community Special Intervention Project is given opportunity to senior military officers to reciprocate back to their immediate community with such project for promoting better relationship between military and general public.
He assured Jigawa state government and people of the state that, the Nigerian Army will continue to work hands in hands with sister security agencies and general public in protecting the territorial integrity of the country, peace and stability.
In his remarks, the chief executor of the project, Major General Abdulkadir Muhammad, said the project comprised the renovation of 11 block of of 24, classrooms , 10 toilets units, Water facilities and staff offices.
“Under the chief of army staff community intervention, all the students of the school will be given one set of school’s uniform and set of exercise book”, Major Abdulkadir stated.
On his part, the Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi has commended the chief of Army Staff for such intervention that will complement the effort of the state government in providing enabling environment for teaching and learning in the state.
Namadi also commended the executor of the project, Major General Abdulkadir Muhammad for executing the project described him as a proudly son, who have concerns to the future of young generation.
The Governor assured the chief of army staff, and the executor of the project that, government in collaboration with community will utilize and protect the project for achieving the desire goals of providing access to quality education to children.
In his remarks, the Emir of Dutse His Highness Muhammad Hameem Nuhu Sanusi extended the appreciation of Limawa community, and Dutse emirate to the chief of army staff , also promised to promote Friendship Operation, with military and other security agencies for maintaining peace and stability in Jigawa state and Nigeria at large.
