Nigerian professionals, industrialists set for US varsity awards in Lagos

The Executive Director/CEO of International Trade Fair Complex, Barr.Veronica Safiya Ndanusa; the Director General of Women Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture,Ms Weyinimi Eribo; Chairman Ezeudo Lagos State, Ikem Agbasi, and the CEO of Dozek Lab and Scientific Supplies Ltd, Mr Emeka Nnadozie are among those that are primed to be honored with honorary doctorate degree awards of Highstone Global University,Texas,USA at the University of Lagos this month.
While Barr.Veronica Safiya Ndanusa is expected to bag honour in International Law and Diplomacy, the General Secretary of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, Surv.Lady Angela Kesiena Etuonovbe is billed to be honour as Doctor of Estate Management(honoris causa).
Ms Weyinimi Eribo, Ikem W. Agbasi, and Mr. Emeka Nnadozie are listed for honorary doctorate degrees in Business Administration respectively at summit that will culminate in the awards.
Also, Director General of NTA Abuja,Salihu Abdul Hamid Demos, is among the winners of Leadtimes Africa Grand Leadership Prize in the forthcoming event.
The annual awards which coincides with Leadtimes Africa’s Strategic Leadership Summit also has Chief Surv.Anthony Jide Adebayo of Hay-Bee Crown Limited;Surv.Mrs Evelyn Genesis Olomu of Geosys Nigeria Ltd;and Surv. Mrs Folakemi Odunewu, principal partner, White Nide Geo information Services Limited, as honorary doctorate awardees to be confered at this event.
A press release by Professor Buba Mshelia, the Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine, and the co-convener of the summit, said: “the awardees were selected based on their various impacts made on the people of their local communities and their leadership qualities anchored on integrity, transparency, and quality service delivery.”
Other awardees that have been lined up for honour at the ceremony included the General Manager of Transmission Company of Nigeria, Maiwada Sarki Bello,who is nominated for Doctor of Strategic Management and Human Development;
Mrs Stella Gabriel Edem, Deputy Director,Women and Youth Empowerment,Centre for Management Development,Lagos, and Engr.Christian Obiora Ezebube of Geolis Cables Limited who are expected to be conferred with Doctor of Business Administration(honoris causa)and Doctor of Social Policy and Administration respectively.
Accordiing to the statement, Dr.Lucky Omokhodion, Chairman/CEO of Ehi Multi System Ltd is billed for double honour at the ceremony including Doctor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship (honoris causa) and Winner of Leadtimes Africa Businessman of the Year Award, respectively.
Other outstanding personalities listed for honorary doctorate awards at the occasion include Mary Adeyanju,MD/CEO of Hallmark Insurance Ltd;Chief Barr. Austin Aikore,Legal Adviser of Bank of Industry Ltd;Chief Camilus Nnamdi Amajuoyi, CEO of Andy-Joy Nigeria Ltd;and Chief Nnamdi Nkemka,CEO,CNN Global who are expected to bag honorary doctorate degrees in various categories at the even taking place later this month.
Also, the Assistant
Director, Procurement, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mr Ikhile Edobor Fred will bag doctorate degree in Sustainable Procurement Policy and Administration (honoris causa);Toyin Bawa-Allah,MD/CEO,Prindex Properties, will bag honorary doctorate degree in Real Estate Management including the Export Manager of Intercontinental Distillers Limited, Mr.Martins Uwadia who will all bag Doctor of philosophy in Business Administration.
Equally, the Managing Director and CEO of Buknod Global Resources Ltd, Ayodeji Akinola Arnold,Mr Aliyu Garba, CEO of Velvet Nigeria Ltd, are primed to bag honours in Business Administration. Emmanuel Otitoloju, General Manager of Biostadt Company will receive doctorate degree in Public Healthcare Administration at the occasion, while the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Hon.Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello has been nominated for doctorate degree in Public Policy and Administration for his massive infrastructural development across the Ejigbo Council Area which has truly impacted on the lives of the people positively.
The MD/CEO of Bowa-Gate Global Services, Abiodun Adeyemo will bag honour in Business Administration as Chief Chukwumalu Emeka, Chairman of Boomec Nig Ltd will also bag honorary doctorate award in Business Management and Entrepreneurship during the ceremony.
