Nigerian public health professional Aaron Akpu Philip wins two prestigious international scholarships

In a remarkable achievement, public health professional Aaron Akpu Philip has been awarded not one, but two highly competitive international scholarships to pursue a Master of Public Health (Health Promotion). Aaron, a dedicated Care and Support HIV/AIDS Officer on the USAID-funded Sustainable Mechanism for Improving Livelihood and Household Empowerment (SMILE) project, has been granted both the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship to study at Leeds Beckett University in the UK and the WHO/TDR Scholarship for a Master’s at the University of Zambia.
