Nigerian musician Alexander Adelabu, popularly known as Magixx, has announced the death of his mother, Esther.
The singer shared the news across his social media pages, on Sunday where he opened up about his grief and the difficulty of accepting her death.
Magixx described his mother as a strong woman who continued to show love and kindness while dealing with illness.
He said her death has left him struggling to process the reality of losing her, describing the experience as one of the most painful moments of his life.
“I have never felt pain like this. Never been this lost. Still processing that this is real. Can’t believe this happened to you, Mom. You are my reason, my why, my guardian, my twin, my everything,” he stated.
The musician did not disclose the nature of his mother’s illness or the circumstances surrounding her death.
