Nigerian Youths Deserve Better: Youth Literacy Foundation Pledges to Make a Difference

The Youth Literacy and Social Empowerment Foundation has inaugurated its national executive council, marking a significant step towards empowering Nigerian youths and shaping the nation’s future leaders.

At the inauguration ceremony, the foundation’s Chairman, Dr. Adeleye Olusegun, urged Nigerian youths to desist from making inflammatory statements that could further polarize the country. He emphasized the importance of responsible speech and actions in maintaining a stable polity.

The National President of the foundation, Hon. Kyari Jidai Gadzama, described the launch as a harbinger of good fortune for the youth and sincere patriots of the nation. He noted that the foundation represents a fresh start for Nigerian youths, focusing on education, social empowerment, security of life and property, and mentoring future leaders.

The foundation’s Founding Life Patron, Otunba Rasaq Lawal, pledged to provide all necessary support to help the foundation achieve its goals. He stated that the organization’s objectives embody the youth leadership mentorship that Nigerians have been yearning for.

Prominent Nigerians, including retired Major Seun Fadipe, former Chief Security Officer to General Oladipo Diya and Barrister Mike Chike Nwosu attended the inauguration ceremony.

The foundation’s leaders have called on Nigerian youths to shun vices such as drug pushing, currency trafficking, and other nefarious activities that can tarnish their reputation and negatively impact the nation. Instead, they should focus on developing positive values and traits that will make them worthy ambassadors of their nation.
