Bauchi State Government, BASG, has asked the Deputy Care Taker Committee Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area, Alhaji Rabu Habu to vacate office.
Habu was in advertently sworn in as Deputy Chairman Caretaker Committee of Ningi Local Government Area few months ago without the confirmation of members of the State House of assembly.
This was contained in a statement tittle; re appointment of Deputy Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area with a reference number GO/SS/OFF/S/56/S.I dated 26th June 2018 which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government Muhammad Nadada Umar and made available to newsmen yesterday in Bauchi.
Umar said to rectify the situation the name of Alhaji Rabo Habu has been forwarded to the Honourable House for confirmation.
He said Habu has been directed to vacate the office of the Deputy Chairman until a clearance is obtained from the Honourable House and a letter of appointment is subsequently issued to him.
