A People’s Redemption Party (PRP) Gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election in Kaduna state, Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Umar has called on Nigerians especially those in the north to be actively involved in agricultural aactivities to ensure food security and wealth creation.
He made the assertion during the launching of the maiden edition of Demak Agribusiness Magazine in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, active engagement in agricultural activities will help to cushion the effect of food insufficiency.
He noted that the whole essence of life revolved around food and shelter.
Alhaji Tijjani added that the production of the Agribusiness Magazine anchored around President Muhammadu Buhari’s promise to Nigerians about self-sufficiency in food production.
