The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) in collaboration with Sport For All Commission under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, is organising Seminar for Fitness Trainers to be held in Abuja from September 18 to 19, 2024.
The seminar is organised for the State Sport Councils as a follow-up to the previous one held in 2017 for all State Directors of Sports.
A statement released by the Public Relations Officer of NOC, Tony Nezianya, said the Committee will provide accommodation and meals for one participant from each State Sport Council.
The release stressed that other fitness clubs are also welcome to attend the seminar, but they will need to cover their own transportation, accommodation, and meals throughout the duration of the event.
The Chairman of NOC Sport For All Commission, Dr. Abdul Ibrahim encouraged all State Sport Councils to take advantage of the opportunity and nominate a qualified staff member to attend the seminar.
The event promises to be of tremendous benefit to the participants and their respective State Sports Councils or Commissions.
Certificates will be issued to all participants at the seminar. The venue for the event is the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) Secretariat in Jahi Area of Abuja.
The statement further noted that participants are expected to arrive in Abuja on September 17 and depart on September 20, 2024 while accommodation information would be provided subsequently.
