A new Northern states revival and survival Movement established by northern elites under the auspices Arewa New Agenda (ANA) has expressed its commitment towards reawakening its people to revive the lost glory of the region.
The founder and pioneer chairman of the Association (ANA), former Senator Ahmad Abubakar Maolloyidi made the disclosure in an interview with journalists in Yola Tuesday, stressing that the time is now for all hands to be on deck for the emancipation of the Northern region out of poverty and stagnation in all ramifications.
Senator Moalloyidi said that the Association is out in full force to ensure right steps are taken towards the right direction in making sure the north bounce back in the scheme of things especially with it’s endorsement of natural mineral resources which are untapped.
Moallayidi, a former Senator who represented Adamawa southern zone (2015-2019) explained that, the north has all it takes to be rich but due attention wasn’t given to the Agricultural sector which according to him the story should have been different by now.
