NUC expands admission quota in Igbinedion varsity

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has expanded the admission quota of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.
This followed the recent approval of 10 new postgraduate programmes for the institution.
Registrar of the IUO, Dr. Edwin Okoro in a statement said the includes Engineering, Arts and Sciences.
She said: “the University is therefore set to immediately commenced admission into the new programmes for the 2019/2020 academic year”.
In a related development, the institution has trained recruited instructors for the Joint University Preliminary Education Board (JAPEB).
The training includes teaching methodology, marking scheme, continuous assessment amongst others.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye said:
“JUPEG Programme is in furtherance of the school’s commitment to provide equal opportunities to the teeming youths seeking university admission..”
