Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state has been appointed the patron of members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) North Central Zone.
The Vice President of the zone, Chief Wilson Bako stated this in a statement issued yesterday in Minna.
He added that the Governor attained the feet after careful screening of his achievements.
He stated that the governor won the admiration of members of the union because of the overall infrastructural development including the completion and digitalization of the state owned Television and Radio stations.
While commending the governor for emerging as the patron of the union in the zone, the Vice President said that Governor Sani-Bello will officially be decorated at May 1st 2018 at a colourful ceremony at government house Minna.
He said, “as part of the ceremony, delegates are expected to visit some of the Governor’s key projects especially the digitalized state Television and Radio stations that were modernized by the administration”
He said that Chairmen and Secretaries of the seven states including FCT that made up the zone are expected to attend the event.
