NURTW boss, others benefit from Urhoghide empowerment scheme

The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Mr. Odion Olaye was among the beneficiaries of the 4th Edition of Senator representing Edo South Senatorial district, Matthew Urhoghide empowerment programme.
Members of his Constituents who do not have regular employment including youths and artisans also benefitted from the tricycles otherwise known as Keke NAPEP, generator sets, sewing machines, grinding machines worth millions of Naira that were dolled out on Monday by the PDP Senator in Benin City, Edo State.
Some loyalists of governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki who defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC to Peoples Democratic party, PDP before the September 19, 2021 governorship poll in Edo State were not left out.

Addressing the beneficiaries before the presentation of the items, Senator Matthew Urhoghide and Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Account, warned against selling of the empowerment items and assured of more empowerment for members of his constituents.
