The National President of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Audu Titus Amba, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Sir James A. Kanyip, KSM, PhD.
The meeting was held at the Attorney-General’s Chambers within the Modibbo Dalhat Secretariat Complex, Kaduna. It provided an opportunity for dialogue between the union leadership and the state’s chief law officer on issues of mutual interest.
Sir James Kanyip welcomed the delegation and commended the union for advancing the education sector and promoting teachers’ welfare across the country. He noted that sustained engagement between government and professional bodies remains vital to policy implementation and service delivery.
In his remarks, Comrade Amba expressed appreciation for the warm reception. He reiterated the union’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with government institutions to improve education outcomes and address the welfare of teachers nationwide.
