NUT urges govs to prioritize teachers’ welfare

The Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT, urged governors to ensure teachers welfare.
President of the Union, Comrade Audu Titus Amba gave the charge at the Adamawa state NUT delegate conference in Yola Tuesday.
He also charged the teachers to upgrade their educational status with a view to be in tune with the changing times.
Comrade Amba referring to the delegate conference’s theme; “Education challenge in an Economy of Uncertainty: Effect of teachers,” said teachers must be productive through professional trainings and retrainings with a view to respond to their professional challenges.
