Former Head of State, Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has commiserated with the Gombe state government over the death of its Emir, Shehu Usman Abubakar, who died recently in London.
Buhari described the late Emir as a man of peace, who dedicated his life to peaceful, harmonious living among his peoples.
Also sympathizing with the people of the state yesterday, in Gombe, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd) described the late Emir as a man of peace, noting that the late Emir until his death, contributed immensely for the development of state.
He prayed to God to give the family and the state the fortitude to bear the loss, urging that the new Emir to emerge should emulate him to enable peace reign in the state.
