The Taraba state coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr Ella Aji Williams on Tuesday charged corps members posted to serve in the state to be proactive, purpose-driven, and morally upright in their service year.
Mr. Aji Williams stated this during the closing ceremony for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ stream ii orientation course, noted that the corps members underwent a three-week orientation programme at the permanent orientation camp in Sibre, Taraba State.
He commended corps members for demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and commendable esprit de corps during the orientation programme.
He reminded them to remain committed to the values of integrity, diligence, humility, and selflessness imbibed during the orientation.
Aji expressed gratitude to the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for his unwavering commitment to youth development and national integration.
“Over the past three weeks, you have undergone a rigorous transformative induction meticulously crafted to instill discipline, foster unity, and prepare you for the experiences of National service from leadership drills and civic education to entrepreneurial training and cultural immersion.”
