The Oduduwa Development Initiative(ODI)has commended the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, Dr Adebowale Adedokun, alongside heads of other key government agencies for what it described as outstanding service delivery and reforms.

The group, in a statement signed by its National President, Ambassador Akinyele Olasumbo, said the commendation followed an assessment tour of selected agencies to evaluate their efficiency and effectiveness.

According to the statement, agencies that stood out were the Bureau of Public Procurement, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Customs Service and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

ODI said the agencies distinguished themselves in performance, humanitarian development and service delivery at a time many public institutions were being criticised over corruption, negligence and indiscipline.

Speaking on the Immigration Service, ODI praised Mrs Kemi Nanna Nandap for improvements in border management and the modernisation of immigration procedures.

The group also hailed Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, saying his reappointment had helped the NSCDC play a stronger role in national security.
