Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the appointment of five special sdvisers.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Patrick Ukah, listed the special advisers as Dr Austin Obidi, Elder Emmanuel Ogidi, Hon. Sunny Emeyese, Senior Apostle Sylvanus Okorote and Hon. Ebikeme Clark.
The statement said the date for the inauguration of the appointees will be announced in due course.
Meanwhile, in another statement today, the SSG, Mr Patrick Ukah, said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the assignment of portfolios to some of the appointees.
They are:. Emmanuel Okoro (Community and Rural Development; Prince Kelly Penawou (Local Government Affairs; and Chief Andy Asawota (Chieftaincy Matters/Judiciary and Chairman, Prerogative of Mercy Committee)
Others are Chief Edwin Uzor (Peace Building/Conflict Resolution; and Chief Godwin Ogadi (Special Duties, Government House).
