Okowa congratules Funkekeme Solomon at 58

Delta Governor, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has felicitated with his Senior Political Adviser, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, as he clocks 58 years on April 21.
He congratulated Solomon for his meritorious service to the state, working as former member and Deputy Speaker of State House of Assembly, former Commissioner for Works and former Chairman, Governing Council of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.
The governor, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, in Asaba, particularly extolled Funkekeme Solomon for his diligent and adventurous spirit, which saw him deliver impressively as Director-General of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in the state in the 2019 general elections
He said that Solomon’s outstanding leadership of the Campaign Council contributed immensely to the resounding victory of the party in all the elections.
Okowa also acknowledged Solomon’s sterling activities as his Senior Political Adviser, remarking that the eloquent and astute politician had brought his wealth of experience to bear on his office.
The Governor expressed belief that the politician’s investments in the state and humanity would always remain relevant, especially as he continued to apply his vast experience to political mentoring of youths.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I felicitate with an illustrious son of Delta, the Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, a man in whom we are all proud of on the occasion of his 58th birth anniversary.
“As Director-General of our Campaign Council in the 2019 general elections, our party had one of the best outings winning in 23 out of 25 local government areas in the state.
“And, as Senior Political Adviser, you have been exceptionally committed to the course of political re-engineering in our dear State,” he said.
Okowa joined family, friends and associates in celebrating the Burutu-born political tactician and quintessential gentleman, praying that the almighty God would strengthen him and grant him good health in his continued service to the state and mankind.
