Omidiran celebrates Tinubu at 74, says FCC reforms mirror renewed hope agenda

The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon Hulayat Abiola Omidiran, has extended warm felicitations to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.

In a goodwill message issued in Abuja, Hon. Omidiran described President Tinubu as a visionary leader whose commitment to nation-building, equity, and democratic consolidation continues to inspire confidence among Nigerians across all regions.

Hon. Omidiran, according to a statement by Ademola Lawrence, Spokesperson, Federal Character Commission, emphasized that the ongoing reforms within the Federal Character Commission are deliberately structured to reflect and support the President’s vision of a more inclusive, transparent, and equitable Nigeria.

According to her, the Commission is repositioning itself through institutional strengthening, improved monitoring mechanisms, and enhanced compliance frameworks to ensure that the federal character principle is fully realized across all government institutions.

In the words of Omidiran, “On behalf of the management, Honourable Commissioners and staff of the Federal Character Commission, I warmly congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.

“Your bold leadership and Renewed Hope Agenda continue to inspire our reforms as we work to deepen fairness, equity, and national unity in public service,” she said.

Hon. Omidiran explained that recent initiatives by the 5th Commission, including digital transformation efforts, stricter enforcement of compliance by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), and increased stakeholder engagement, are aimed at aligning the Commission’s operations with global best practices while reflecting the aspirations of the current administration.

She commended the President’s unwavering resolve to ensure that all segments of the country are fairly represented in governance, stressing that such inclusive policies are critical to strengthening national integration, trust, and stability.

According to her, “As an institution mandated to uphold the federal character principle, we are committed to reforms that not only reinforce equity but also mirror the vision of Mr. President for a united and prosperous Nigeria.

“The Commission will continue to play its role in ensuring that no region or group is left behind,” she added.

The FCC boss prayed for good health, wisdom, and continued success for President Tinubu as he steers the affairs of the nation toward greater prosperity.
