Ortom expresses commitment to reposition PDP ahead 2023

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has stated vehemently that he is committed to repositioning the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP in the North Central and at the National level to clinch power from All Progressives Congress,APC in 2023.
The Governor who made this vow yesterday while speaking with newsmen at Government House, Makurdi, said the party will re-strategize and look at areas that made it lose to the APC at the 2015 general, boasting that in 2023,the APC will become the oppostiition party.
“I am not a compete happy man being the only PDP governor in the North Central. I want more states in the North Central zone. I want PDP to control the Federal government and if we are in control, we will have appointments as head of agencies, representations and more projects will come to Benue State”, he said.
Governor Ortom also, said he is not perturbed by the gale of defections in the State by some prominent politicians to the APC, maintaining that most of the defectors are not PDP members, adding that most of them did not win election in their areas.
