Ortom warns PDP Campaign Council against campaign of calumny

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has warned members of the Campaign Council against emabrking  on campaign of calunmy.

The Governor who doubles as the chairman of the Counci, sounded the warning at a meeting of the State campaign Council members, candidates, State Working campaign  committees, local government party chairmen, council chairmen and local government coordinators

  yesterday at Government House, Makurdi.

He urged them to embark on campaign of issues, boasting that the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, will convincingly win next year’s polls in the State.

Ortom also, frowned at the manner the opposition party is defacing the major round about leading into the State(Wurukum) which has been liased out to Multi- Choice, pulling down bill boards and posters of the PDP, noting that such act is ‘undemocratic’.

He announced the distribution of 46 vehicles to State Campaign Council members as well as local government campaign commitees.
