According to Turkish publication Posta, the shocking drama unfolded late on Thursday evening after a disappointing result for Galatasaray in the UEFA Europa League two days earlier, with Osimhen, dressed in a beanie and a yellow hoodie, and his entourage leaving a swanky entertainment venue.

However, when the Super Eagles star was approached by photographers, all hell apparently broke loose.

 The cameras were flashing, and Osimhen’s temper allegedly went into overdrive.

Posta journalist Tolga Bozduman was on the receiving end of Osimhen’s fury as he recounted how he was allegedly assaulted by the Galatasaray striker.

“When the camera flashes went off, all hell broke loose,” Bozduman recounted, clearly still rattled by the altercation.

“Osimhen screamed and lunged at me. He tried to take my camera away from me, but I didn’t let him. He punched me in the head—it still hurts.”

According to the journalist via the aforementioned outlet, after the attack, the footballer allegedly tried to bribe Bozduman into deleting the incriminating photos.

“He offered, ‘Destroy the footage, I’ll give you money,’” Bozduman revealed, describing the audacious request.
