Osinbajo meets Emir Sanusi, Lamido of Adamawa, others

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday met the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and the Lamido of Adamawa, Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, behind closed door.
Although details of the meeting were yet to be made public, there were indications that it may not be unconnected to the spate of insecurity in the North East.
Others at the meeting include Ahmed Joda, Suspected Fulani herdsmen had recently attacked two communities of Lawaru and Dong in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The attack came after a widely rumoured report of suspected Fulani herdsmen lurking in the area.
