Zamfara: Legal practitioner urged respect for Nigeria’s Constitution

A legal practitioner, Bello Galadi has advised people in Zamfara State and Nigeria at large to always seek knowledge on how to competently pursue their rights as it is well protected in the Nigerian Constitution.

Barrister Galadi gave the advise in a press briefing in Gusau Zamfara State capital, being part of preparations for a book launching titled; ‘80 Treatises of Social Activist’.

According to him, the about-to-be launched book contains comprehensive grounds enlightening the teeming youths and the people in power on the need to become educated in the interpretation of constitution and how laws contained there favour each of the law abiding citizen.

“The expected results of launching the book is to lift the good citizens of the state and the country out of ignorance of the laws guiding the legitimate livings which clearly provided legal protection on their rights across all ramifications of life.

“I consider it obligatory to pay my contribution towards building a constitutionally-based and right-protected society with a view to acquire a peaceful and progressing Nigeria like any other developed country in the globe.

“I strongly believe that, the high rate of ignorance of constitution is a clear reason which derailed our teeming youths from challenging leaders for the respect of the laws that brought them into power, the development if addressed, the violations of laws would not be there to stop the country moving to the expected destination”, Galadi has opined.
