The SOS Children Village, said the disbursement of 60 million naira in grants to the Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs)  across ten communities in Borneo state yesterday was an investment  in businesses and future of families.

Speaking at the Grant Ceremony tagged; Strengthening Resilient Communities in Borno state, the Chief Program Officer

Adelopo Ayodeji said, “We are investing in the education, health, and nutrition of children, in their livelihoods, and in the overall well-being of these communities.

“The women who lead these VSLAs are the unsung heroes of our society. Their resilience, ingenuity, and determination are the foundation upon which we can build a more prosperous and equitable future.
