The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-General Brigadier Shuaibu Ibrahim, has said that the organization’s major responsibility is to groom Nigerian graduates to be patriotic, disciplined, and responsible as well as to promote national unity and development.
The DG made this known during the induction/training of members of the NYSC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit(ACTU) Sub-unit in Areas offices and State/FCT Secretariats, in Abuja, yesterday.
Ibrahim, represented by Director of Human resources, Hajiya Habiba Bappa,
said, the inauguration is a follow-up to the induction of the anti-corruption and Transparency Unit of NYSC headquarters, earlier this year.
He charged the inductees to take the training seriously and utilize the knowledge acquired for the effective discharge at work, fairness, and sincerity in line with the standard of the commission.
“I expect that the attitude of staff to work and general conduct should conform to ethical standards in all ramifications, reflecting honesty, loyalty, integrity, and commitment,” he said.
